Los Angeles multidisciplinary creative Ryan Pollie remains an essential part of the heartbeat of LA. From lampooning the authoritarian cult of Daryl Gates and it’s ilk in the former controversial outfit Los Angeles Police Department, the hip hop supergroup 93 Bulls, a remarkable solo output oeuvre, to championing the artists of today and tomorrow via the Forged Artifacts imprint; the SoCal polymath unveils his latest labor of love titled Total Revenge.

Wielding a wall of scuzz and crunchy guitar licks; Total Revenge blasts open the plywood of the suburban garage doors with amplifiers and Big Muff pedals cranked beyond their legal limits. Rolling out the visual and debut single "The Fair", Pollie's distortion treated delivery sings a song of longing, a song of heartache and unrequited desire for a former love to meet him at the fair performed in front of an abandoned Six Flags in various states of demolition and disrepair. Shot by Grace Woodward and directed by Tanner Rittenhouse; "The Fair" is a return to a more innocent time, singing out all the feels in an amusement park once filled with smiles, laughter and care free jubilation that has become vacated as a bi-product of the passing time. Total Revenge takes us to those fond places that we truly can never go back to in earnest. The places where the heart and memories remain fond, yet in truth the reality of a logical return is met with the impossibility of an uncompromising reality of a world that has moved on, moved forward and nothing but tumbleweeds, overgrown foliage and rusted steel still stand as the remnant of everything that once was.

Also off the Total Revenge s/t; check out the skronk, fuzz and frenzy of "The Lawn" that will inspire you to create your own 4-track masterpiece. The track recalls well manicured landscapes, sunny suburban sprawls, neighbors smiling and waving as you roll through on your GT bmx whilst blasting a mixtape on a Walkman of all your favorite scrappy Los Angeles lo-fi heroes of the underground and DIY sects.

The self-titled Total Revenge album will be available September 4 via Forged Artifacts.
