Fresh from sunny San Jose, California; we proudly present the debut of the latest pagan pop ode to our worlds and ourselves with the new Tűz track “Permission”. The vision of Ashley Macachor (sister of Jeremy Macachor of Macajey), the artist relays the wisdom of the ancients and the echoes from la madre terra through meditative, introspective songs that illustrate our psychic connection to our surrounding environmental elements. Following the explorative nature’s path of discovery “Take a Walk”, Macahor asks us this time to look inward and free ourselves from the baggage and burdens that weigh us down and are not intrinsic to our nature. Tűz taps into the Free to Be You.. and Me ethos with a reminder that we are our own keepers ultimately. It is a message of personal empowerment that reverberates like a transcendent message received from an mystic transmission signal beaconed by the grace of a celestial sun deity.

“Permission” is a perfect presentation of the holistic Tűz sensibility, sound and ayahuasca soaked psychotropic style. Ashley arranges a ritualistic processional that seeks to melt away our stubbornness over letting go. This process is executed with the sensation of floating on air with the sweet abandon of all the things that got in the way of ascending to greater heights. The shamanic song walks the listener through the process of laying down all arms, anger, hurt, anguish, grudges, oppressiveness, hatred and everything else that prevents the true liberation of the soul and self. Produced as a modern day western soundscape, the ceremony picks the tempo up at two minutes and twenty-five seconds in to demonstrate the release and rapture from the humankind hindrances that interrupt healthy connections to ourselves, others, loved ones and our shared globe. Tűz brings a new gospel that goes and tells it from the mountains that we have the power to be the one who grants ourselves freedom from the constructs, credences and cycles in the name of an enamored and enlightened existence.

Ashley Macachor of Tűz’ provided the following insights on the new track “Permission”:

We often carry ideas, beliefs and patterns that we’ve adopted outside of our awareness that aren’t even our own. These things we carry around can be taxing, burdensome and draining. Finding a way to disconnect from them is a step toward individual freedom. We can then make choices that come from a true part of ourselves.

This song was inspired by the idea that we only need our own permission — to change, to let go. It’s a reminder to acknowledge the voice in you that is always trying to get your attention, amidst all the distractions we are bombarded with, to follow those little nudges; to listen.

Tűz’s “Permission” is available now via Bandcamp and everywhere.
